About (Biography)
Born in New Haven, CT., Ron Cervero had spent his early years struggling spiritually, and seeking the meaning of life.
He is a real human being and struggles with life, death, and faith. Darkness and light. Many Christian poets use flowery words and cliché admonitions in their writings but not Cervero, he is real and raw with beautiful and relevant imagery in his words.
He speaks the truth which lies within his heart, is very creative, and very honest. He wears no mask and doesn't pull any punches.
In his words: "I am not a good and holy Christian, but I'm getting better. I'm not who I was. I am a "wretched" sinner in need of God's incredible Love & Grace to even attempt to live the Christian life."
Cervero says: "God has ripped off my mask and I can't fool Him, why should I try and fool the world into thinking I'm someone that I am not?"

Ron has been writing poetry for over 20 years, and lives in Connecticut with his wife Mia, and their 3 pets (kids), Grace a long-haired chocolate Chihuahua, Metsy a black cat and Popsicle a tiger cat (both rescues from the local humane society).
A majority of the proceeds from this book will go to "Compassion International" to help feed starving children across the globe...

His first book, Cranial Speedway, was well received, and earned Ron several awards. He has been published in many magazines, compilation books, and online poetry ministries. Since that time, Ron has penned Swimming in Jungles, and his latest, and most creative Christian collection Blood & Glory.
Ron is also being considered for having one or more poems in this book turned into lyrics for a new Christian Rock CD to be named at a later date...Stay tuned!
